Berlin Pearl Divers, the Final Project at the Ostkreuz School of Photography in Berlin, in the class of photographer Ute Mahler.

This series concerns life’s unpredictable, grotesque and genuine moments when youth, still free of major disappointments, meets adolescent challenges of disintegration and loneliness. The story is about young boys from Berlin standing between childhood and becoming a man. They are all around 18 years old, finishing school, and live with their parents.
